The implantation took place at the Nose and Sinus Institute Boca Raton, Florida and was performed by Dr. Melyssa Hancock, Otolaryngology-Head & Neck surgeon.
The DREAM study is a pivotal, Investigational Device Exemption trial designed to support the marketing authorization of the Genio® system in the United States. This multicenter, prospective, open-label, observational study will enroll 134 patients, who will undergo the implantation procedure in up to 26 centers worldwide including sites in the United States, Germany, Belgium and Australia.

Dr. Nachlas was the Chief Resident and Assistant Chief of Service of the Department of Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital when minimally invasive sinus surgery was introduced in the United States at that institution in 1985. He then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Melyssa Hancock trained at Georgetown University, and like Dr. Nachlas, is double board certified in Otolaryngology as well as Facial Plastic Surgery.
